Instructions for Use (IFU)
Clear Aligner pliers are used to cut, indent, activate, flatten of reshape clear aligners during chairside treatment. & Orthodontist and trained clinician use them to improve aligner fit, retention, elastic placement, bit correction and force delivery.
- Preparation: Inspect the plier and the aligner tray for any defects. Ensure the instrument has been fully cleaned and autoclaved according to standard dental infection control protocols.
- Positioning: Carefully place the slim tips of the plier at the target location on the aligner tray (e.g., gingival margin for retention dimples/teardrop hooks, or incisally/mid-crown for rotation and torque activations-Please see use per specific pliers
- Activation: Apply gentle, controlled, steady pressure to compress the tips and place the desired indentation, hole, or notch into the aligner plastic. Avoid excessive force that could tear or fracture the thermoformed material.

Verification: Check the chairside adjustment on the patient to confirm that the indentation successfully engages the undercut, attachment, or provides the intended pressure vector without causing soft-tissue impingement.
